Outline of Main Duties Job Responsibilities. The incumbent will report directly to Group Head SAM.
- Monitoring & management of infected portfolio, analysis of budget vs
achievement & identify gaps, corrective measures. - Responsible for developing draft policies and strategies related to the
management of infected portfolio recovery in line with Banks’ business plans. - Prepare regular reports and analysis of infected portfolio and its reporting to Banks’ management.
- Assessing credit & operational risks and proposing risk mitigation strategies to the management to minimize losses.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
related to the infected portfolio and stay updated on regulatory changes to adjust policies accordingly. - Collaborate with internal teams such as risk management, legal, business and
operations to achieve goals related to infected portfolio recovery. - Identify and propose opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency to enhance performance.
- Any other task assigned by the Management.
Head Monitoring Department (SAM)(VP/SVP)
Experience:
Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience with at least 5 years’ experience in SAM/Remedial Management, Risk Management, and Relationship Management of Commercial/SME/Agri. Assets in the Banking sector.
Qualification:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Preference will be given to candidates having a relevant Master’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent foreign qualification

- Age Limit: 48 years as of the closing date to apply.
- Applicants retired from any service under any Government (i.e. Federal or Provincial) or from any organization, body, authority or establishment owned or controlled by any Government or in which any Government has a controlling share or interest are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants dismissed, discharged, compulsorily retired, removed or otherwise terminated by previous employers on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants convicted by any court of law are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants relieved under any Golden Hand Shake Scheme/ Voluntary Separation Scheme (by whatever name) from a Public Sector Organization for five years are not eligible to apply.
- The above position will be contractual for an initial period of 5 years (extendable subject to performance). Market Competitive remuneration will be offered.
