1. QUOTAS AND JURISDICTION:

• For items No.1 to 6, only those applicants are eligible to apply who are permanent residents/ possess domicile of the area/region against whom quota vacancies are available.
• For item No.7, only those applicants are eligible to apply based on their domicile, who belong to the Civil Districts & Tehsils falling under the territorial jurisdiction of respective Railway Administrative Divisions ie.
• Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Sukkur, Quetta & Karachi.
• Detail of jurisdiction (Districts and Tehsils) of all Railway Divisions is available on the website of Pakistan Railways i.e. www.pakrail.gov.pk/.
• Applicants can apply for more than one post as per qualification requirements.
• Details of the above posts, terms and conditions, eligibility and test criteria, application forms, and other information are available at the website of Pakistan Railways at www.pakrail.gov.pk.

3. AGIT LIMIT:

• Years + 5 years General Age Relaxation in upper age limit on the closing date for receipt of applications.
• The age of candidates belonging to the scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Rural & Balochistan, recognized tribes of the Tribal Areas, Azad Kashmir, and Northern Areas is relaxed for 3 years in addition to item No.1 above.
• In the case of Ex-Servicemen, the upper age limit is relaxed to the extent of 15 years or the number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is
  less.
• The age of government servants and contract employees who have completed 2 years of continuous Government service on the closing date for receipt of application is relaxed by 10 years up to the age of 55 years.
• The age of disabled candidates is 10 years.
• The age of the widow or child of a deceased Civil Servant who has died during service is relaxed by 05 years in addition.
• Where a candidate is entitled to age relaxation under more than one category specified above, he shall be allowed relaxation in age only in one category.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES:

• The application form shall be downloaded by visiting (the Pakistan Railways) Website ie www.pakrail.gov.pk. and are required to submit as per the following instructions a Form duly typed and emailed to CPO at email address cpo@pakrail.gov.pk.
• Signed forms along with attested copies of Educational Documents, CNIC, Domicile, and Two fresh passport-size photographs.
• Three postal envelopes duly stamped and return address mentioned thereon.
• The above documents should be directly sent through Registered Dak or courier to the Chief Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Headquarters Office, Empress Road, Lahore.
• Eligibility of the candidates shall be determined based on applicant qualification, performance in written test and interview (70% Written Test + 30% Interview)
• The candidates who are serving in the Railways or any other department shall submit their application through the proper channels along with NOC.
• Application forms may also be obtained from Pakistan Railway Divisional Offices at Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan Sukkur, Karachi, Quetta, and Moghalpura.
